Retül 3D motion capture technology takes the guess work out of bike fitting, unlike traditional 'static' fits or 2D fits, the Retül systems allows us to be extremely accurate with the measurements we take - enabling us to optimize your position at a given power output / effort.

The Retül system works by placing sixteen LED marker's (eight each side) at specific skeletal positions on the body, the 3D scanner is then positioned to record the movements of the rider 29 times per second - giving us an amazing amount of data to work with. Because the Retül works dynamically (i.e. whilst you are riding your bike) we are able to look at the changes in your position based on workload, and ensure you are correctly fitted to your bike for the type of riding you'll be doing on it.

Retül is used by a number of top level pro-tour teams (including Lance Armstrongs 'Team RadioShack' and top British team 'Team Sky') and the worlds top triathlete's to inprove their position on the bike - enabling them to create maximum power throughout the pedal stroke.

A Retül dynamic bike fits takes approx. 2 hours for one bike - depending on the level of adjustment required, and includes the following key elements...

• Full assessment of Rider’s range of movement, flexibility and biomechanics to determine implications for positioning

• Detailed motion/ride analysis to determine position changes

• Repeat motion/ride to verify the effectiveness of the changes

• Use of the “Zin” tool to accurately record the exact dimensions of your bike post fit

• Mechanical changes to Bike Position (our mechanics will be happy to ensure any major changes to your bike are fully checked over before you leave - including re-cabling etc should it be needed)

• Final report, outlining post-fit bike and equipment measurements required for optimum bike position for your body - which you can use for future bike purchases to ensure you maintain your new position.

Should you require a second (or third) bike fit to be completed at the same time - this can be booked in at a cost of £75 per additional bike.
