Hot Rock


“Hot Rock” Whistling Sands is one of the loveliest beaches in the whole of north Wales. Its sand is so fine and clean that it squeaks when you walk along it. This was taken well after sunset. I lit the rock in the foreground with a torch, but kept moving it around so that there wouldn’t be any unsightly shadows. The water was up to my knees and very cold being mid winter!
