Hybrid 4-3 - alnico IV and alnico III combined for the perfect balance of chime and twang

Hybrid Strat set featuring two grades of alnico magnets. We have used alnico III on the top strings for a great chiming warm tone with a bit of vintage Strat quack, and alnico IV on the bottom wound strings for better definition and a little more twang than you would expect from a 50s style pickup. The coil wind is a little hotter and the overall tone is a modern slant on a vintage classic - something a little different!
