'67 Specials - later '60s style glassy and articulate Strat tone

Late 60s inspired Strat tone wound with plain enamel wire using alnico V magnets. The ’67 Specials have increased output, a smoother midrange, fuller low-end over the Formvar ‘50s. Over-wound bridge pickup for better balance (you can opt for standard if you wish). Under overdrive the ’67 Specials have a rounder high end with a natural midrange, clean they are bright with plenty of snap. Good choice for a Texas tone if you use heavy strings and play aggressively.
